The numbers in brackets represent the % of profits both you and the site take.
eg. (60/40) means you make 60%, and the site takes 40%.
One of my personal favourite sites! You can offer camshows (via Skype/Yahoo Chat, etc.), phone chat, and custom + premade videos, all in one place. Customer service is pretty good, and profiles are customizeable with HTML!
Something to be mindful of: Affiliate referrals only apply to people who join through your referral LINK. If a first-time caller registers over the phone, they don’t count as a referred buyer.
Affiliate program: Get a $50 bonus for every new referral you bring in who spends $50 or more within their first 3 months.
This site is great for selling all of your premade video content. They also have a program for offering custom videos, and you can also offer phone chat. Please note that while their custom clips site does say you keep 100% of what you charge, this is because they add their fee on top of your price rather than their cut off of your price, which is the norm. As such, you’ll need to use lower custom video rates if you want the total amount you’re charging clients to match your rates on other sites.
Word of caution to Canadians: Don’t use their direct deposit feature for payouts! Most Canadian banks charge a $15 currency conversion fee to receive deposits in foreign currency (in this case, USD). I personally get cashed out from IWC via FirstChoice Pay (previously Payoneer).
Affiliate program: Earn $30 every time a seller that joins through your referral link uploads their first 5 videos.
ManyVids is primarily a clip site, but can also be used to offer a wide range of other goods and services. They also have an an awards program to reward their top monthly earners, and they run competitions with cash prizes on a regular basis.
Affiliate program: Earn 5% on all seller referral tips, bonuses and sales when they join through your referral link and upload their first 2 videos. Your cut does not come out of the sellers’ earnings.
CamModelDirectory is a great payment processing site for adult industry members that also promotes you on their site. You can use CMD to accept payments for any online goods/services you offer, and they allow you to include links to your personal website, social media and wishlists.
Affiliate program: None.
Streamate is one of the larger camsites out there. Shows are streamed directly through the site. Members can tip you in free chat, join you in premium chat (where multiple people can watch your show at once) or exclusive chat (one-on-one). A great first site for beginners.
Affiliate program: Earn an extra 40% of what referrals spend on you, and an extra 20% of what they spend on other models for one year when they join through Streamate’s sister site, cammodels.com.
Disclaimer: I have not personally used Chaturbate (yet!). However, I do run a studio under which some of my slaves perform. Chaturbate, along with sites like Streamate and MyFreeCams, is a popular big box camsite for live streaming that also allows users to sell photos and videos. While the % you earn can vary based on how much buyers spend per token (the more tokens they buy, the better the deal), the USD value per token remains the same for you. For example, if someone buys 100 tokens for $11, they’re paying $0.11 per token. If they buy 1,000 tokens for $80, they’re paying $0.08/token. Regardless of which bundle they purchase, you will still receive $0.05 per token.
Affiliate program: 20% of Money Spent (OR $1 per new member, including non-spending) + $50 per broadcaster + 5% Referred Affiliate Income
Disclaimer: I have not used MFC. I have included it in the list because I know it is a popular site. MyFreeCams is more focused on public shows in which the models get tipped by viewers, although private shows are still an option as well. The way MFC runs compared to Streamate is a great example of just how much camsites can differ, and why it’s important to figure out what cam style you want to have before getting started.
Affiliate program: None.
I only recently signed up to this one, but I’m really excited to try it out! Get paid by the message for texting, and set separate rates for picture messages. You can also offer phone chat, and it’s all done through your phone, but no one sees your real phone number.
Affiliate program: Get a $100 bonus for every new performer referral you bring in who earns $100.
Probably the biggest (and oldest) clip site out there. You can customize the appearance of your clip store, which is great for making yourself stand out against other stores. International sellers receive payments by snail mail, or via wire for a $45 fee. You can try earning some extra cash by entering in their holiday competitions, too.
Affiliate Program: None.
The first site I ever joined that wasn’t strictly for in-site camming. They offer the ability to provide a large number of goods and services, and their texting program is very unique. You can even create fundraisers!
Affiliate Program: 1. Receive 10 credits when someone becomes a verified seller and posts an approved job. The maximum you can earn is 50 credits (up to 5 sellers).
2. Receive 20% of the sale amount for the 1st job (Instant Downloads Only) each seller you referred sells.
3. Receive 20% of the amount of credits each referral purchases for the first time.
Write blog posts telling members about what deals you’re offering, or how your day is going! Members pay per message when chatting with you via PM, but can also talk to you for free via the live chat feature when you accept their chat request.
Affiliate program: None. However, for every $5,000 you make (before the site takes their cut), your % goes up an extra 2.5%.
Clients can add you to Skype after viewing your SkyPrivate profile, and a a plug-in bills their video calls with you by the minute, as if you were streaming right through the site. Not compatible with Yahoo Messenger.
Affiliate program: Your cut goes upp by 0.05% for every client referral who adds credit to their account, and for every model referral who makes a withdrawal.
C4U was never a favorite, but I stuck around because, hey – Money’s money, even if it’s not much. When they introduced their new interface, though, I decided it was time to go.
Issue #1: Pricing glitch. Prices used to be “Earn 100% of the price you set and we’ll add our own fee on top of it” which pretty much meant “If you usually charge $10.99 for a video, set your price to $7.69 so that once we add our fee, the total is $10.99.” Annoying, but not the end of the world. Recently, they changed their pricing system so that you type in the full amount you want the video to cost, and they tell you what your % of that is (so now, you set the price at $10.99 and your cut is $7.69. The numbers are the same, just set up differently). There was a glitch when they restructured fees, though, so all videos that I uploaded prior to the “upgrade” ended up having “my price” ($7.69) set as the TOTAL price. People were underpaying for my content, and I was being underpaid for it by making 70% of $7.69 instead of 70% of $10.99.
Issue #2: When I started going through my older content and manually fixing the prices myself (which was slow going since the site is constantly running at the pace of a snail) I noticed that some of my videos had OTHER GIRLS’ PREVIEWS ON THEM. What better way to promote my content than with someone else’s preview? At this point, I decided the site was way more of a hassle than they were worth (they were never one of the higher paying clip sites), so I cashed out and closed my account.
While I am sure the issues have been resolved by now, I haven’t returned out of principle.
Site now deleted. Funds owed were never paid.
While their concept is really cool, since they’re essentially a NSFW version of GoFundMe, their execution has been absolutely horrendous.
Issue #1: They don’t earn their cut. Despite how much they take (was originally 25-30%, then 50%, now 40%), they are useless. Their payment options can be easily accepted independently (one of which is Amazon, so even after they take a cut, they’re paying you out in something worth less than actual cash), and they don’t promote you. They even tell you you’ll make more sales by promoting your page yourself, and while this is of course true in the technical sense, the fact that they feel the need to say so just shows how much of the work they really care to do themselves. Once I stopped promoting my PBG campaign myself, I made $0 with them. If I’m going to do all of the work myself, I’d rather dedicate my time to promoting my own website, where I get all the money myself, too. Even when I was still regularly uploading content, it often wasn’t getting approved for over a week at a time.
Issue #2: What bothers me more than that, though, is how underhanded they were in terms of how they handled the changes in earning percentages. First, we were making around 70% (it was either 70 or 75, I don’t remember) off of our campaign earnings (ie. clip sales). Then, they added the ability to sell clips directly to our profiles, but for a 50% cut. THEN, they removed clips from campaigns, meaning ALL of our clip sales were now bringing in 50% instead of the 70-75% they used to. That’s at least 20% profit, taken right out from under us. After this had been in place for a while, they made an announcement to let all the girls know that they were generously increasing our cut on clip sales to 60% (WHICH IS STILL LESS THAN WHAT WE WERE EARNING WHEN CLIPS WERE POSTED ON OUR CAMPAIGNS).
Issue #3: I’ll let the conversation speak for itself (I took out the “Hi there!”s and “Sincerely”s for readability):
ME: While I understand that your normal withdrawal minimum is $150, I would like to close my account with you so I’m hoping I can get cashed out with my current balance before I go. Thank you!
PBG: I’ve deleted your account and I have contacted Finance to process your payment.
ME (2 weeks later): I can see that my account has been deleted, but I never got cashed out. Please let me know when that can be rectified. Thanks!
PBG: I have asked the Finance team about this and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
As I write this now, that last message from PBG was sent 3 weeks ago. Still no payment.
